Freebie: Alice in Wonderland Inspired Bookmarks!

I very obviously love stories. Whether I’m reading or writing, both for fun and grad school, or crafting things inspired by books, lore, and tales, there’s always a story on my mind.

I’ve been drawn to working with digital art lately. I love that I can collage a background for jewelry, a miniature, or just my art journal and print it out ready to cut and use! One website I’ve fallen in love with is Graphics Fairy! Karen and the others at the site scan hi res images of vintage, public domain designs and offer them for totally free! I love the site so much that I subscribe to their premium site, which offers themed bundles every Monday of images, printables, SVGs, vectors, & photoshop brushes, and a photoshop tutorial. All for only $10 a month!!! (I promise this isn’t an ad or sponsorship–I just really love the site!) It’s absolutely perfect for those of us who love papercraft, especially those of us with etsy shops because you can use them commercially!

Anyway, now that I’ve spilled some crafting secrets… When I saw the Alice in Wonderland bundle, I knew I had to make something with them. So I made something I always need: bookmarks!

I really love these! I thought it’d be fun to make them just plain black and white so you could color them in to your own style, or just leave them as they are for a simple look. Just click on the picture below to enlarge or open the picture in a new tab to print/download! I’m thinking about adding a full color version to my etsy shop!

Which one is your favorite? I’ve had a lot of compliments on the I’ve read too far past my bedtime to stop now bookmark. If you want to show your final work of art off after coloring, post it on Twitter or Instagram and tag #bronzesparrow, or link to your post in the comments! If you like what I make, please consider checking out my etsy shop: The Bronze Sparrow!

Love & good stories always,

Kara
